So this movie looks pretty good. Code named “Cloverfield”, the movie is from J.J. Abrams and Bad Robot, the guys behind Lost. Basically all that is known is what you see on the trailer. It’s about an attack on New York from a camcorder’s perspective. The movie comes out on 1/18/08. You may have seen the trailer before Transformers.

Not the people. The movie. I love this movie. I stumbled on this movie today on AMC and have been watching it for a bit inbetween lawn waterings. Gene Hackman plays the perfect coach. And while I’m sure it’s not a picture-perfect recreation of the Milan team that won the Indiana High School State Basketball Championship all those years ago, it’s still a damn good movie, and gives me goosebumps even today, even thorough a million watchings. Best movie ever? May-be.
Plus it has my high school’s fight song in it (at the end of the Hickory/Linton game when they’re trying to ice Ollie). Nothing wrong with that.
And Dennis Hopper. Amazing.
